Summer road resurfacing in Reading starts in August - you might want to check your journey to the Centre

READING Borough Council’s annual summer major roads resurfacing programme is set to begin on Tuesday 1st August.

This year’s programme will see resurfacing work on fifteen sections of main roads, covering more than 34,000m2 of road surface across the borough.

The programme is expected to last for up to five weeks, weather permitting. Works will be temporarily suspended over the Reading Festival period on the traffic sensitive routes,...
