Goodbye from Tracy

A message from Tracy on our final week

Dear all,

Well, here it is, my last week at the Centre.  I wanted to write to you all again to say goodbye and thank you.  It has been such a pleasure and privilege to know you all over the last 17 years.  I will miss you all but will keep in touch and pop in regularly.  I can also be found at St Michael’s, Tilehurst most Sundays! I wish I could invite everyone to my ordination on 3rd July but sadly Covid restrictions prevent this.  However I will forward the live stream link to Pip nearer the time in case anyone would like to watch it at the time or later.

One of my proudest memories whilst working at the Centre was when I ran the London Marathon in 2013.  Two years before, I could not run a step! You all gave me the most wonderful support, and one of our talented members, Sue Cox, made me this fabulous tutu to wear around the 26.2 mile course!  Knowing I was running for the Centre gave me such encouragement and really spurred me on. A very special day!

As many of you know, I am never far away from a very large cup of tea and so I leave by raising one to you!

Much love

Tracy xxx
