Blue Badge parking changes at Royal Berkshire Hospital

Find out how to make sure you get free parking at RBH

There have been some changes to parking arrangements at Royal Berkshire Hospital.

You do not need to take a ticket when you enter as your car will be registered with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and you do not need to display a ticket in your car. The multi-story car park is no longer barrier operated.

Blue badge holders are eligible for free parking but once you have parked, you must take your Blue Badge to reception on level 2 each time you park to ensure you receive free parking.

Alternatively, Blue Badge holders can register on the APCOA Blue Badge Portal when they have parked to receive free parking.

Access the APCOA Blue Badge Portal here or by scanning the QR code on a parking sign at the hospital.

There are Blue Badge bays and drop off zones on level 0 (A and E drop off only) and level 2 and are located near the entrances to the hospital.  The maximum wait time in the drop off bays is 30 minutes.

If you do not have a Blue Badge you can either pay by card, cash or on the APCOA app.
