BMSTC Update

BMSTC and the second lockdown

Update about our services during the second lockdown

Since the Prime Minister announced the new lockdown on Saturday, we have been monitoring the guidelines from the Government, from our professional bodies and taking advice from the National MS Therapy Centre.

Facilities like the Centre are exempt from the new lockdown and we intend to continue those face-to-face services that have restarted. We want to reassure you that our face-to-face treatments have been designed with high-risk circumstances in mind. We are confident with the procedures we have put in place to keep you and our team safe.

We want to thank everyone who has attended the Centre for following our new rules so strictly.

We will be monitoring the situation very carefully and will continuously review this decision as and when more information is available. As always, we reserve the right cancel appointments, even at short notice.

We do appreciate that you may feel uneasy attending your face-to-face appointments. If you would like to cancel any appointments booked, please call 0118 901 6000 or email ms@bmstc.org ASAP so we can offer it to someone else.

Our remote services will continue.

We appreciate this is a worrying time for everyone. Please don’t forget our counselling service is still running via telephone.

Please take care of yourself and each other,

Everyone at BMSTC
