This year Carers Week takes place from 10-16 June and there are various events planned locally.
The Wokingham Carers Partnership have planned various events to commemorate this important awareness campaign:
Mon 10 June – Information event at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre from 10am to 2pm.
Tues 11 June – Wellbeing walk at Dinton Pastures from 1pm to 3pm and quiz night at Sedero Lounge from 6:30pm.
Weds 12 June – Carers lunch at Winnersh Community Centre from 12pm to 2:30pm.
Thurs 13 June – Coffee afternoon at Finchampstead Baptist Church from 1pm and Bingo Evening at BJ’s Bingo Reading from 5:30pm.
Fri 14 June – NHS bus and information event in Woodley town centre from 10am to 1pm.

Mon 10 June – Greek themed fun, food and entertainment at the Fair Close Centre, Newbury, 11.30am to 3pm.
Thurs 13 June – Information and Advice event with a variety of charities and organisations plus free tea, coffee and cake at Thatcham Rugby Club, 12pm to 2pm.
Fri 14 June – Make a natural bird feeder and garden walk at Shaw House, Newbury, 10am to 12noon.
