Fancy making some savings next you are at the cinema

We would like to share some information from the MS Squared newsletter which is especially timely given some cinemas are starting to reopen. MSquared is a social group that is supported by the Reading, Wokingham and Districts MS Society – find out more here: http://www.msreading.org.uk/events/regular-activities/#N1153)

Cinema Savings

The CEA Card is a national scheme developed by the Cinema Exhibitors Association (CEA) for UK cinemas. The scheme means for disabled guests can get a complimentary ticket for a carer to go with them.

Check if you are eligible online (e.g. in receipt of DLA/PIP or Attendance Allowance etc.) by visiting https://www.ceacard.co.uk/index.aspx where you can apply online or download the application form.

They take a week or three to be delivered and are valid for a year so don’t leave it until you want to book your next trip!

Carer tickets

When booking tickets for some events, carers may go for free if you receive the higher level of PIP or qualify for a Blue Badge. Ask at the time of booking if carer places are available.
