Information session about staying motivated to exercise
Our friends at MS-UK are offering an information session about ‘Staying on track – how to set goals and keep motivated’ on Monday 20 September at 2pm.
During the information session ‘Staying on track’, Dr Gretchen Hawley will be talking about how to identify specific exercise goals, stay consistent and measure success along the way.
Dr Hawley will break these down into six tips that will help people get back on track and stay motivated with their exercise routines. The six tips are:
1. Pick one thing and start small
2. Pick a time that works for you
3. Think positive thoughts before, during, and after
4. Create your “why”
5. Remind yourself of your “proof”
6. Surround yourself with positive success stories and personal development
At the end of the session, there will be twenty minutes for questions and answers.
If you can’t make the session live, don’t worry it will be recorded and made available to watch again for all those registering in advance.
MS-UK have a suggested donation is £5 for this information session, but you can make a donation of your choosing from £1 to attend.
