Our counsellor Leigh will be starting a new Online Relaxation and Mindfulness Class. Starting on 21 April, he will initially be offering this as a trial – this is the first time we are offering something like this and we want to make sure it is as beneficial as possible.
Are you feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed? I’m not surprised if you are, we are in the middle of one of the most stressful events in modern history. And with limited access to family, friends and support services we must find new ways to look after ourselves. This is especially important for people with MS as they often find stress aggravates their condition.
Whilst you can’t change the world around you can change how you respond. Relaxation and mindfulness have been shown to decrease the effects of stress on our bodies and minds and improve our quality of life. So, if you would like to find ways to manage or decrease your negative feelings and stress join our online class. You will learn with practice how to take control of your mind and relax your body.
