Are you a carer and/or family member of someone with MS? Would you like to meet other people in the same situation?
Reading, Wokingham and District MS Society are having their next monthly partners and carers lunch on Thursday 8 February at The White Horse in Emmer Green at 12.30pm.
All carers will be made very welcome so why not get in touch and go along?
One of the attendees said, “It is lovely to be able to go out for a meal which I had not prepared myself in pleasant surroundings and to be able to chat to people about ordinary things and not about MS if I did not want to. I learned a lot from others who had been carers longer than me which was useful. We support each other as much as possible and there is always a friendly voice at the end of the telephone if someone needs an ear to listen to them.” Barbara
