An update from us
Another week in ‘lockdown’ has passed and we are set for another three – how has it been for you? We hope you are coping OK.
Last week we promoted our first online relaxation class with our counsellor Leigh and had a brilliant response. We are thrilled this week to tell you about our new chair-based Yoga class we will be running online. Our Yoga teacher, Uddhava, (who celebrates 21 years of being part of the Centre this month) will be running the sessions every Monday. To find out more click here.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last few weeks, it really has made a big difference. We have already started to hear about charities that have already closed their doors and we are doing everything we can to making sure that doesn’t happen to us. We have largely maximised our matched funding via the Good Exchange and thank you to everyone who made donations that way. If you would like to make a donation please visit our new page here. Alternatively join us for the countrywide 2.6 challenge…how imaginative can you and your family be!
Last week so many of you shared photos of your pets which really brighten our days. There seems to be some, let’s say, characters there. This week we are asking to see your garden and what wonderful things you are growing.
Don’t forget:
- Read the tips from our counsellor, Leigh. He has put some wonderful guidance together and is currently working on other ways to offer help
- Do you need support where you are? There are some great groups springing up ready to help those in their neighbourhood. We have compiled a list here. Have we missed someone? Please let us know by dropping us an email
- Come and find us on Facebook, Twitter and join our private Facebook group
- If you are able to make your usual donation, or perhaps a little more, it will be greatly appreciated.
Please wherever you are, take care of yourselves and remember to #StayHomeSaveLives.
