We are thrilled to welcome Nikki to the Centre this week as our new full time Membership and Volunteer Support Officer. We will let her introduce herself;
“Hi, I’m Nikki Harris and I’ve worked in the Voluntary Sector for over 20 years in a number of different fields such as community engagement, family support services, volunteer management and fundraising.
My most recent role has been working at Treloars Specialist School and College as an Admissions and Funding Co-ordinator, supporting families of severely disabled children and young people through the whole application, assessment and entrance process.
I really enjoy working with beneficiaries and volunteers and am passionate about supporting individuals through difficult times, helping to empower and increase their self confidence and supporting them to make their lives better as a result.
I am looking forward to working with the members and volunteers at BMSTC and being part of this amazing community and I hope to meet you soon!
In my own time, I enjoy spending time with my family – husband, two teenage sons and my three sausage dogs. “
We’re so pleased to have you here with us Nikki and we know our members and volunteers will look forward to meeting you over the next few weeks.
