We’ve received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service!

November 14, 2025 | Pippa Vincent-Cooke

We’re thrilled to announce that, on His Majesty the King’s 77th birthday, the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre has been awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.

This is a fantastic achievement and a huge honour for our charity.

The King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS) is the highest award given to local volunteer groups in the UK. Equivalent to an MBE, it recognises outstanding work by volunteers supporting their communities. The award is given for life – and we’re proud to be one of 231 local charities recognised this year.

This honour is a celebration of everyone who’s helped make the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre what it is today. We want to thank all our volunteers and team members – past and present – for their incredible dedication and hard work. You truly deserve this recognition.

Last year alone, our volunteers gave over 6,500 hours of their time. The Centre simply wouldn’t run without them.
