Last week was MS Awareness Week and we had a great time spreading the word about MS and about the support the Centre can offer.
We were interviewed on That’s TV Thames Valley and featured in the Wokingham Paper. We held a hilarious sold out Bingo event which raised around £600. Jackie and Claire from the Centre joined the MS nurses and an NHS neurophysiotherapist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and we shared some very special stories from our members on our social media and blog. Our member Louise was the star of our video up on the giant screen outside Reading Station all week and our collection at the station on Friday was very successful – grand total to come soon!
