Reading Station collection
About
Bucket collections are a great way to raise funds for the Centre and raise awareness of our work.
If you have not collected before and can spare two hours, why not give it a go? The station is fully wheelchair accessible. The more volunteers, the better, so please feel free to share with anyone who may be interested.
New to bucket collections and wondering what they are? We get permission to collect cash (via buckets/pots) at a location – in this case, Reading Station. In two-hour shifts wearing a bright yellow BMSTC tabard, our incredible team of volunteers collect money and give information about our Centre.
It only needs a couple of hours of your time. You will be provided with a bucket, a tabard to wear and all the training and support that you need. It’s a lot of fun and you will get to chat with lots of different people about the Centre.
We’d love to have you on our collections team.

I love collecting at the Station as the staff and passengers are friendly and very interested in the Centre. I usually collect a lot of money there which makes it so worthwhile doing it. …… The Centre does so much for my husband who has physiotherapy, oxygen therapy and counselling and it is nice for us to give back.
