Find out how the Centre can help

Monday 10 October is World Mental Health Day

We know that living with MS can be difficult and that we are living in uncertain times, which bring added pressures. We understand that this affects not only people living with MS but their partners, families and carers too. We are here to do what we can to help:

Counselling

Counselling is available with our counsellor Amanda for both people with MS and their families. It is non-judgemental and confidential and can take place in person, online or over the phone. For more information, please see our Counselling web page.

Relaxation and Meditation Classes

Our yoga teacher Uddhava will be starting a new four week online Relaxation and Meditation class aimed at people with MS, their families and carers. Meditation has been shown to decrease the effects of stress on our bodies and minds and improve our quality of lifeSee our blog post to find out more.

Complementary therapies

Our visiting therapists offer a variety of therapies which can help with relieving stress and tension. For full details, Complementary Therapies web page.

Other local support

For details of local organisations that can offer support with benefits advice, symptom support and transport, please visit our Support in Berkshire web page.
