Twenty Years at Bradbury House
Last week marked the twenty year anniversary since HRH Princess Royal declared Bradbury House open.
We were one of the first MS Centres to build their own specialist space and it is no exaggeration to say it has transformed the support available to the local MS community. After growing out of our PortaKabin in Caversham we were ready to expand our service provision and support more people turning to us for help.
Over the last 20 years we have:
- provided over 175,000 treatments to help our members manage their symptoms
- extended our provision while always staying true to the vision on which we were built
- continued to bring people together to support and help each other
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our story so far. We don’t know what the future holds but we are committed to provide vital support to our members across Berkshire and beyond its borders.
This year we are launching our 20 Challenges for 20 years. Our first challenge – to get 20 people to join our Group Skydive on 30 March – has exceeded all expectations and we now have 25 people jumping across two airfields (interested in skydiving? Contact Yvonne).
Watch this space to see how you can join in over the next 12 months and help us celebrate all the MS community has, and will, achieve.
Here’s to the next 20 years!
