It has been a busy week at the Centre!
We have had a busy week at the Centre, restarting our Surface Pressure Oxygen Therapy and Footcare services for people with MS. It has been lovely to see people back again, we can see everyone smiling despite wearing face masks!
Our Massage Therapist, Mo, is restarting her massage service at the Centre from Monday 12th April. If you previously registered your interest, Mo will be in touch with you directly to arrange an appointment.
Acupuncture and Spinal Reflexology will be the next to return, hopefully later this month. Again, if you have already registered your interest, Sarah or Ron will be in touch directly.
If you haven’t yet registered your interest, you can do so here:

Acupuncture: https://www.bmstc.org/acupuncture-waiting-list
Spinal Reflexology: https://www.bmstc.org/spinal-reflexology-waiting-list
Please note, due to the increased costs involved with additional time, cleaning, and PPE requirements, our self-employed therapists will be increasing their fees to £18 per session for Spinal Reflexology/Acupuncture and £20 for Massage, payable directly to them. Please also note, if you require assistance with transfers or personal care, you will need to bring someone with you to assist. We currently do not have staff available at the Centre who can provide help.
Our Physiotherapy team should be receiving their second vaccination in April. Once they have received full protection, we will gradually reintroduce a limited physiotherapy service at the Centre.
Please make yourself familiar with our current operating procedures, before you attend the Centre for your pre-booked appointment: https://www.bmstc.org/what-you-need-know-about-appointments-centre
We are looking forward to welcoming more people back over the coming weeks and months ahead, as restrictions are hopefully relaxed.
Best wishes
Pip and all the team.
