Can you help with our first-ever virtual collection?
We are very excited about our first bucket collection tomorrow since the pandemic began. Tomorrow our team of collectors will be at Reading Station – thank you to all our volunteers and thank you for your help. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered over the last few days. Due to Covid restrictions, we have not been able to accept last minute offers of help on this occasion, but we will be in touch for the next one.
As this is our first collection since Covid we have no idea what the footfall will be like at the station and if people will be carrying cash. Since Covid began, we have lost approx. £50,000 of potential income from bucket collections – vital money needed to continue to provide services.
We know many of you wanted to help but couldn’t on this occasion. We are hosting a virtual bucket collection for those unable to be at the station.
