Did you know that donations to charity by the FTSE 100 (Britain’s top companies) total £1.85bn every year? Companies can offer a huge amount of support to charities through partnerships, gifts in kind and matched-funding.
We are looking to build more relationships with local and national organisations that provide charitable support in any form. If you or a family member are in employment, you may be able to help us.
What do we need you to do?
- Ask your manager, HR department or CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) department if they undertake any form of charity fundraising
- Find out how a charity gets involved. This could be through a staff nomination and vote, an application form or an informal chat between the company and the charity.
- Once you have this information, let us know who you work for and what the process is. You can do this by either talking to our Fundraising Manager Rebecca in person when you visit the Centre, or send an email to rebecca@bmstc.org
