Carers Week is returning from 8 to 14 June, helping recognise unpaid carers and connect people with support. Here are some local events taking place for carers that week that you might find of interest.

- Monday 8 June, free online webinar open to all 10am to 11am. The session will share support available for unpaid carers, wellbeing, carers’ rights and best practice, while giving carers and professionals the chance to connect and share experiences. Hosted by Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, Reading Borough Council, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and Wokingham Borough Council. Register for the webinar here.

- Tuesday 9 June, 10am to 3pm – Drop-in at Brants Bridge Health Centre in Bracknell
- Tuesday 9 June, 11am to 2pm – Drop-in at Royal Berks Hospital in Reading
- Wednesday 10 June, midday to 2pm – Carers Afternoon Tea at Riseley Tea Rooms (tickets are £10 book via carers@ageukberkshire.org.uk)
- Thursday 11 June, 6pm to 8pm – Games Evening at Radstock Community Centre in Earley
- Saturday 13 June, midday to 5pm – Visit the carers stall at Woodley Carnival, Headley Road in Woodley.
