We have been contacted by Jeni Baykoca, a researcher from Kings College London. She says, “I’m part of a team at King’s College London working on Navigate MS, a symptom management app for people living with multiple sclerosis. The project is funded by the MS Society and is designed to support people living with MS who experience pain, psychological distress and/or challenges with intimacy.
We are currently recruiting around 90 adults living with MS to take part in a research study exploring the acceptability and usability of the Navigate MS app. The findings will help us understand participants’ experiences of using the app and inform how we can improve Navigate MS so that it is as useful and accessible as possible for people living with MS.”
To take part in this study, you must be over 18 with a confirmed diagnosis of MS and an interest in managing MS-related pain, psychological distress or challenges in intimacy.
The study involves downloading the Navigate MS app, looking through the sessions over 9-10 weeks and playing an active role in improving the app.
