This year marks the milestone of 40 years since the doors of the therapy centre opened in Caversham.

As well as celebrating the past, we are also reflecting about where we are now. You will hear at the AGM about the pressures the Centre is currently facing.
We have bounced from the pandemic to a ‘cost of living crisis’ at a time when demand on our services have never been higher.
At the moment demands on services are at record levels and fundraising is at its most difficult.
Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) has shared this week that a £20 donation in 2017 would now need to be over £25 to have the same purchasing power in 2024.
We rely on donations from our members to keep our Centre running. We know times are tough for everyone but if you are able to increase your donation, it will make a big difference to the Centre.
There are other ways to support the Centre if this is not possible. For example, we are looking for volunteers in upcoming collections and for people to join us for Go1984.
