There’s still time to sign up for our Go Challenge 2026 – Beside the Seaside – which starts on Monday!
As recipients of The King’s Award, we want to recognise this great honour in our event – so this year’s Go Challenge is taking in 1889km of the King Charles III Coastal path (virtually!)
Our theme this year is celebrating the values epitomised by the King’s Award and the pride of our British Voluntary sector, inspired by the seaside setting of the King’s Coastal path with the Great British seaside. Our playlist will be based on British Bands over the decades with the British Seaside as our theme – possibly even joined by event mascot Steven Seagull! Dressing up is very welcome but of course optional!
You can help cover the kilometres between Monday 11 May – Friday 22 May by:
- using the bikes in the gym
- add kilometres from activity that you do from home
- attend our online classes and earn kilometres that way too
We aim to raise £6000 for the Centre, as we rely on donations and fundraising since we don’t receive NHS or national MS charity funding. Whilst there is no obligation to fundraise for this event, we would be most grateful for any contributions that can be made. Those who raise or donate £50 or more will enter a draw for a mystery prize (seaside themed of course!)
How to get involved
To join the challenge please speak to the physio team or email freia@bmstc.org with any questions. You will receive an information pack after you sign up (either by email or hard copy as requested.) If you would like to fundraise, the pack will give you instructions for setting up your own online fundraising page, as well as providing sponsor forms.
You can also sponsor the team online here.
We’re looking forward to two weeks of seaside-themed fun!
