Every week, we offer a Tai Chi class both online and in person for people with MS – why not give it a go?
Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that brings together deep breathing, relaxation, and slow, graceful movements. As it is greatly based on technique, it doesn’t matter if you are not very strong or flexible. Tai Chi can help people with MS with their wellbeing, balance, strength and mobility.
Our class is adapted so you can do it seated or standing. Unlike Tai Chi classes in the local gym, it does not build on what was learnt the previous week so it doesn’t matter if you have memory difficulties.
Class details:
Thursdays, 1.30pm
Available both online and in person at the Centre with our therapist Jackie.
