FACETS Revisited

February 25, 2026 | Pippa Vincent-Cooke

A message for those of you who have already attended one of our FACETS Fatigue Management courses…. Now we are in February, the new year is in full swing, your New Year’s resolutions are dwindling and you might find yourself slipping into old habits.

This is then the perfect time, to revisit your Facet-Folder and choose one or two articles to get you back on track or try something you have not previously feeling ready for. Whether you choose to start making some SMART Goals or an Activity Diary, choose something which is of importance to you now. Ligia and Simone wish you much success.

If you haven’t done our FACETS course before, why not sign up for the next one?

The course is based on a programme developed by researchers at Bournemouth University and the Dorset MS Service at Poole Hospital called FACETs (Fatigue: Applying Cognitive behavioural and Energy effectiveness Techniques to life Style).

The six sessions will help you find ways to manage your MS fatigue and explain it to other people. You will discuss the nature of MS fatigue, how to manage and balance energy levels and the impact of stress.
