We are sad to let you know that our chiropodist Ruth will be leaving the Centre on 5 March. Ruth has been looking after our members’ feet so well for so long! She will be greatly missed.
However we are really pleased to be able to welcome Ali, who will be our new chiropodist starting on 6 March. They’ve both written a few words;
Goodbye from Ruth
As many of you will already be aware, I will be stepping down from my role as chiropodist at the Centre on 5 March. My mum (93) and father-in-law (89) have now reached the ages where they need a little more help and attention from me and my partner Grahame and I’m looking forward to being able to spend more time with them.
I have been at the Centre for 12 years and have made many friends over that time and met some wonderful people. I shall very much miss not seeing everyone on such a regular basis as I do now but I hesitate to say goodbye as I will stay in touch and hope to continue to see many of you at one of the Centre’s future events. A heartfelt thanks to you all for making my time at the Centre a very happy one.

Hello from Ali
Hi, I’m Alison Love, a foot health professional caring for a range of foot issues at people’s homes and care homes. Previously I worked at the QVI Foot Care charity in Reading. I am registered and insured through the Smae Institute, Maidenhead. My ethos is to treat others as I would like to be treated and make their feet more comfortable.
In my spare time I enjoy looking after our chickens, sheep and pigs on our small holding. I also enjoy gardening, walking, cycling and other outdoor activities. I’m very much looking forward to starting at the Centre.

Booking appointments
Ali will be offering her footcare appointments at the Centre every Thursday starting 6 March. Please email ms@bmstc.org if you would like to book a footcare appointment and we will pass your details on to Ali.
