We’re thrilled to announce that our amazing Go1984 Team smashed the Go1984 Challenge last weekend. Not only did they achieve the original 1,984 mile distance – they sailed past the finish line and did a couple of victory laps, completing a phenomenal 2,086 miles!
A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part and helped us succeed in this fantastic achievement, including everyone who attended our special session on Saturday. We hope you had as much fun as we did. The atmosphere in the Centre has been wonderful these past three weeks and we’ve loved seeing all the 1980s costumes and reminiscing over the 1980s music.
So far our amazing team have raised over £6,200, with sponsorship money still coming in. We’d love your help to reach our £7,000 target. Every penny really does count and will go towards physiotherapy and exercise classes for people with MS. Thank you everyone for your support.
