Goodbye and thank you to Maya

On Friday, we said goodbye to our physiotherapy student, Maya. Maya was with the Centre for four weeks and we want to thank her for all of her hard work. She is about to embark on her final year of studies and wish her the very best for her future. She shared these thoughts of the experience:

“I have really enjoyed my placement at the Centre, it is such a lovely welcoming and inclusive environment which I have seen to really make a difference to people’s experience here. A huge thank you to the whole Centre team for making me feel welcome and supported throughout my placement, allowing me to shadow your practice or ask any questions. Specifically, to the physiotherapy team for supporting me through planning circuits, leading sessions and taking time out of their day to read through my notes and plans etc. enabling my growth as a physiotherapy student. I have loved getting to know a lot of the members too and am very grateful [to you for] allowing me to be a part of their experience/sessions here. My favorite part, of course, was getting involved in the Go1984 challenge and wearing a pink tutu for my first two weeks!”
