The Household Support Fund is a government grant allocated by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to councils in England to support people on low incomes.
Each council has their own way of distributing the fund and many now have funding available until mid/end March. From the start of April, the Household Support Fund will be replaced by the Crisis and Resilience Fund whereby people will be able to apply for emergency funds through their local council.
Please visit the relevant webpage for your local council to find out about eligibility criteria and if/how you can apply for support from this Household Support Fund;
