Our London Marathon team are getting ready for the big day on Sunday 27 April. This week, we’re introducing you to friends Hannah, Olek and Archie:
Hannah
In April I am running the London Marathon for an amazing charity, the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre.
The Centre is very close to both myself and my family as my Dad, Neil, has had to live with MS for around twenty years now and I have seen first hand the struggles he has had to face on a daily basis. The Centre has really helped Dad, as well as many others, over the years by providing various treatments as well as giving opportunities to socialise with those in similar situations. I would love to help out this fantastic charity whilst pushing myself to achieve something well out of my comfort zone!

Olek
I will be running for the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre as they have supported a close family friend with their battle with MS and I aim to raise money and awareness to support more people who have the condition. I am 22, have been running for about a year and I’m currently in my final year of university.

Archie
I’m Archie and I’m running this year’s marathon for BMSTC to challenge myself physically, whilst raising funds for an amazing, local charity. I’ve personally seen the difference BMSTC make to individuals’ lives through the help they’ve given to my friend’s dad, Neil. It’s so important to for the community to come together and support this wonderful charity that doesn’t get the financial backing of more well known global organisations.
