Next week we have 10 brave skydivers jumping out of a perfectly good plane at 10,000 feet. Crazy or inspired?!
So far, they have raised over £7,000, a sum they are hoping to smash next week. What a fantastic amount, especially this year when so many of our fundraising events have been cancelled.
This week one of our brave jumpers, Jan, talked to us about her upcoming jump:
‘It’s a personal challenge for me, as I haven’t done anything like it before. Here at Norbain (the company that Jan works for and a fantastic corporate partner of the Centre), we have been supporting BMSTC for over two years; keeping up to date with all that the Centre is up to and holding events to raise money and support. I volunteered to jump for the Centre so I could make a real difference, raising awareness and hopefully some money along the way. It’s also a team challenge as I’ll be jumping with a group, all supporting the BMSTC.’
