MS Awareness Week runs from 20 to 26 April and local and national MS charities come together to raise awareness of the condition and the support available.
The Centre will have an information stall at the Royal Berkshire Hospital on Tuesday 21 April and our sold out Bingo Night takes place at the Centre on Wednesday 22 April. Our brilliant collectors will also be carrying out a bucket collection to raise funds at Reading Station on Friday 24 April (we could do with a few more collectors from 7am to 9am and 1pm to 3pm – please contact jackie@bmstc.org if you can help) and thanks to MaxxMedia, our advert will be showing free of charge on the large screen outside Reading Station all week.
Thank you to all those members who shared their stories and comments around this year’s theme of misconceptions about MS. We will be sharing these on our social media, blog and on the screen in the social area all next week. If you’re not already following us on social media, here are the links so you can join in the fun! And if you can take one of our posters and display it somewhere to help raise awareness, please see here.
