King’s Award presentation ceremony

March 4, 2026 | Pippa Vincent-Cooke

Yesterday, our Centre Manager Pippa, Trustees Gregg and Penny and volunteers Sue and Carol attended a ceremony with the Lord Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire in Wokingham where Berkshire MS Therapy Centre was officially awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.

The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups in the UK. Equivalent to an MBE, it recognises outstanding work by volunteers supporting their communities. The award is given for life and only a small number of organisations across the country receive it each year.

It was a lovely afternoon and we are so proud of our amazing volunteers. It’s such an honour to receive this Award.
