A couple of stories from this week’s MS Awareness Week
As you are probably aware, this week is MS Awareness Week and a number of organisations have been taking the opportunity to raise awareness and share stories and support.
New report from the MS Trust
This week the MS Trust has released a new report which highlights the importance of their ongoing campaign to secure accessible care for people living with multiple sclerosis.
MS is unpredictable, and can result in a wide range of symptoms which can erode all aspects of everyday life, if access to specialist care is not made readily available. The new report titled Life changing: the hopes and fears of the MS community in 2022 (PDF, 1.5MB), explores the personal experiences of people living with MS in the UK today and highlights the burdens felt by those people in all areas of their life, from work and hobbies through to family and friends.
