The awareness week highlights the emotional impact of MS
This week we have been marking MS Awareness Week, a national campaign which this year has been looking at the emotional impact of MS.
Local and national charities have come together to share stories under the hashtag #MSMakesMe and we have been gathering and sharing our members’ thoughts and stories both online and in person at the Centre. We are also using our social media to spread the word about the therapies at the Centre which can help with emotional wellbeing, such as counselling, complementary therapies, relaxation classes, yoga and the social area.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their stories and followed our updates on Facebook and Twitter. There’s still time to get involved and share how MS makes you feel. You can either write on the board in reception or fill out our online form.
