In this webinar the MS Society will explore parenting and MS and how to go about talking to children about your MS diagnosis.
Do you worry about telling your children about your MS? Or how much you should tell them? You’re not alone and it will be discussed with the panel as part of this information webinar.
Date: Thursday 25 August
Time: 6.30pm
An MS diagnosis has a huge impact on you and your family and you may be wondering how much you should be telling your children about your MS. You may also be concerned about overloading them or confusing them. Perhaps you’re worried they have noticed your symptoms or that you need to rest more and want to find out more about having age appropriate conversations.
The panel will be made up of people living with MS who have children at various ages. The discussion will be around telling children about MS and learning as a family to adapt to life with MS. They will also be joined by an MS nurse who’ll be sharing their experiences of communicating with children and opening up the discussion around supporting your children.
