National charities MS Society, Neurological Alliance and others are calling on people to sign an open letter asking the UK Government for a national plan for neurological conditions such as MS.
Right now, there is no national plan for neurological conditions. The open letter calls on the Government to commit to a national plan by introducing a Modern Service Framework for neurological conditions in England. The plan would help improve access to services, reduce emergency admissions, and reduce health complications. 1 in 6 people in England live with a neurological condition and services are overstretched, with access varying widely across the country.
