We have received funding from the Postcode Community Trust to provide additional Pilates sessions and brand new courses to help people with fall management and strengthening.
We are delighted to announce we have received an award from the Postcode Community Trust to provide additional Pilates sessions and brand new courses to help people with fall management and strengthening.
The first class will be a 10 week Pilates class with our physiotherapist Ligia which will take place on a Monday between 10 and 11 and will start on 23 September. This is additional to our very popular class that takes place on a Thursday. Pilates is very good for improving strength, flexibility, balance and posture. To attend the class you will need to be able to get on/off floor with minimal assistance as well as walking independently/with an aid.
This class has been made possible by an award from Postcode Community Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. We have received £4,640 to run additional Pilates classes and to trial new specialist classes. We are very grateful to all the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery who made this possible.
We are expecting the class to be very popular and we ask the participants to commit to the entire course (as far as possible).
