An eight-week Saturday pilates class starting in April
Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce we are resuming our 8-week Saturday online Pilates class starting on 10th April 2021.
Our physiotherapist Ligia will be leading the new Pilates class from 10am to 11am, with the final session on 29th May via Zoom.
This class is suitable for the people who can safely get on the floor (and up again!) as all the exercises are floor-based.
The regular Pilates classes that take place on Tuesday (combining sitting/standing/floor exercises) at 10am and on a Thursday (for floor exercises) at 10am will continue and there is still space available in both classes.
You will need to have an online ‘screening’ (physio word for mini-assessment) prior to the first class, unless already known to Ligia, so the class can be properly tailored to those attending.
Priority in our Saturday class will be given to those who can’t make the mid-week sessions and to those who can commit to attending all 8 sessions.
The classes are provided free of charge but all donations will be very appreciated and will help us continue all our work.
We have also received requests for a chair/non-floor-based Pilates class. This is something we are investigating. It is not a simple transition, but we are working on it…watch this space!
