We’re gearing up to say a very fond farewell to our Fundraiser Kirsten Shakeri, who will be retiring at Christmas after working at the Centre for 13 years.
We will all greatly miss Kirsten for her hard work, caring attitude, friendliness and all-round knowledge of everything and everyone at the Centre, (although we might all be a bit warmer due to her usual insistence on us putting the aircon on most of the year!)
Although Kirsten will be stepping down from her role here, she has promised to volunteer with our events so hopefully we’ll still see her regularly.
Kirsten says, “I’ve been here 13 years so it’s been a big part of my life. I will miss everyone, all my colleagues and all the members, but I will keep in touch and I might see you at an event or a collection soon!’
Kirsten’s last day is Friday 22 December so she hopes to catch up with as many of you as possible before then.
Kirsten, thanks again for everything and we wish you a very happy retirement. You will be missed.
