Our timetable of activities is taking shape
We are thrilled to see that the number of people having sessions in the Centre has returned to pre-pandemic levels. However, with changes that have happened and with so many people attending sessions online, the magic of the communal area has been much slower to return. We know how important the area is for everyone and we really want to see people come back.
Last week we asked for volunteers to run some social activities this winter and we have had a great response, especially from our more crafty members:
- Tuesday – Cake and Craft* – 2pm to 4pm, from 29 November
Come and bring your craft bits and enjoy cake and chat with your fellow members. Led by Claire, get to know your fellow members. *Craft is absolutely optional.
- Wednesday – Coffee (or tea or hot chocolate or squash) Afternoon – 1pm to 3pm, from 23 November
Join our brand new receptionist Brenda and enjoy some chat and biscuits.
- Thursday – Crochet with Sylvia – 10am to 12noon, from 24 November
Bring along your crochet projects or just come along and have a chat! Beginners welcome.
- Friday – Knitting and Natter with Gail – 10am to 12noon, from 25 November
Come along with your knitting or just enjoy a natter. Beginners welcome.

So please come in from the cold this winter (bonus points for everyone dressed as a spy). Our heating will be on, there will be newspapers, jigsaws, games and refreshments for you to enjoy!
Not seeing anything for you on the activities list?
Please volunteer to run a session, we’d love to hear from you! Just fill out our form and we’ll be in touch.
