There is no doubt that this situation has brought out a lot of kindness in people. Local support hubs are being created across the area. We are collecting the details of the groups. This list will be expanding, below is what we have to date. Reading

Bracknell

Wokingham
Wokingham Borough Community Hub are providing food parcels, toiletries and other essentials to anyone in the borough who is vulnerable, isolated or elderly, and to families in need.

Woodley
Woodley Volunteer for Covid-19, this group have allocated volunteers for every road in Woodley.. The aim of the group is to help those in isolation and the vulnerable people within Woodley.

West Berks

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Fair Close Centre has closed but they are now working in partnership with Newbury Racecourse and Swift Logistics to provide hot, nutritious meals on wheels to all those who need it as well as a telephone befriending service to keep in touch with their members. A two-course hot meal costs £5 (£5.50 for non-members) or £4 (£5 for members) for a main course only can be ordered by telephoning 01635 40488.
