The UK General Election will be held on Thursday 4 July. Don’t forget that you will need to take ID with you when you vote. You can find a full list of acceptable ID here.
There are some important deadlines coming up regarding voting;
Tuesday 18 June – Deadline for registering to vote
Wednesday 19 June – Deadline for applying for a postal vote
Wednesday 26 June – Deadline for applying for free voter ID
Wednesday 26 June – Deadline for applying for a proxy vote, where someone else votes on your behalf
