Update from the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre – 9 October

Update from BMSTC

We hope you have had a good week.

We have had a busy week at the Centre. It started on Sunday with a very unusual London Marathon. The postponed race from April was due to take place but due to social distancing rules (40,000 runners doesn’t quite fit into the Governments ‘rule of six’ guidelines), the runners took to local streets and treadmills to earn their medals. You can read more about the London Marathon here: https://www.bmstc.org/blog/london-marathon

We had some good news: we have successfully secured money from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, which is distributed by the National Lottery. We have also been very fortunate to receive several donations from our members. We are always very grateful for all the support we receive, especially this year with so much of our fundraising put on hold. This week we are launching our Winter Draw with the top prize of £1,000 in John Lewis Vouchers – perfect in the run-up to Christmas. Find out more here: https://www.bmstc.org/blog/winterdraw.

Due to popular demand, next week we are launching a brand new evening yoga class – you can find all the details here: https://www.bmstc.org/blog/brand-new-yoga-class-Tuesday-evenings

We are also bringing you information about the Thames Water priority scheme. If you have an emergency or if your water stops, are you prepared? Find out more here: https://www.bmstc.org/blog/priority-support-thames-water

Have a wonderful week, and we look forward to updating you next Friday!
