Your weekly update from the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre
Another week and another big hello from the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre team. Whilst we continue to work from home the foxes at the Centre are enjoying the peace and quiet as you will see in the photo.
This week:
Our physiotherapy team brings you some tips on strengthening your feet and ankles. Please click here to find out more.
The MS Society has discussed how to make the most out of your remote health appointments. To help keep people safe more appointments are moving away from being face-to-face. Click here to find out what the MS Society suggest.
This week we were very fortunate to receive donations from David Wilson Homes who visited the Centre last year and the Waitrose stores in Henley and on Oxford Road. Their support could not have come at a better time. We would also like to thank everyone who has donated to our Emergency Appeal. If you can make a donation it would make a big difference to our work and you can do so by clicking here.
Another great way to support us is by choosing us as your charity when you shop at the Co-op. You can find out how to do this by clicking here.
We are very sad that we are missing our bucket collections. We know that Reading Station is a favourite for many of our collectors and they are currently looking for feedback about how to make the Station more accessible and user friendly. Can you help by sharing your opinion? Click here to find out more.
Whilst we are talking about sharing your opinion for the greater good, researchers at the University of Reading are looking for people with MS to talk to them about their experiences to help shape future methods of support. Click here to find out more and to take part.
Have a good week,
Pip and the BMSTC team
