We are very pleased to introduce our new massage therapist, Lara Carvalho. Welcome to the team Lara! We are thrilled to have you join us.
Lara has written a few words to introduce herself;
“I was born in Zimbabwe, and was very fortunate to have grown up there. I qualified as a beauty and massage therapist in 2004. I then moved to the UK in 2005 and began working in a well-known spa in the centre of London, which is where my love for everything holistic started. I then went on to do further courses, to enhance my massage skills.
After a few years, I moved to Reading and worked in a few salons, gaining more skills and knowledge along the way. Five years ago, I decided to branch out on my own. This was the best decision, enabling me to really bring my passion to caring for my clients and delivering a high standard of service to suit their every need.
My aim is to always ensure you leave the treatment room feeling relaxed, happy and most importantly, cared for.
I will be offering a variety of massage and holistic treatments such as;
- Swedish massage, hot stone massage, aromatherapy massage and Indian head massage.
- Facials and face massage
- Eyebrow and eyelash tinting
- Eyebrow wax and tidy

Lara will be working at the Centre on Tuesdays from 4 February. She will be opening her appointments diary from mid-January and treatment costs will start from £30. Contact details will be provided nearer the time but if you have any queries in the meantime, please email ms@bmstc.org.
