We’re thrilled to announce that Tamzin Cordery will be starting as our new Events and Community Fundraiser on 7 August. We’ll let Tamzin introduce herself to you!
“Hi I’m Tamzin. I previously worked as a Community and Individual Giving Fundraiser at Treloar’s, a charity which is a specialist school and college for students with complex physical disabilities, so am bringing a lot of experience with me to my new role.
I have done personal fundraising in the past including climbing the O2! I am going to be doing a Firewalk in August and am looking forward to reporting back and hoping it may be a fundraiser for the BMSTC in future.
I ran my own small company for several years, providing confectionery at special events so am very familiar with this type of planning which will hopefully help with my new role too.
On a personal level I enjoy going to basketball games with my partner and daughter and support the Surrey Scorchers. I also have two sons, two dogs and a cat! I am very creative and a little bit of a perfectionist at times. I do enjoy the occasional gin and tonic and have seen many successful fundraisers with a gin theme…
I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone and helping and supporting all the incredible people who help raise funds for the charity. I think that the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre is a wonderful cause – please do come and have a chat and share your experiences with me.”
Tamzin will be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays and working from home Tuesdays and Thursdays. We can’t wait to welcome you to the team Tamzin!
