There’s still time to express an interest in possible craft workshops at the Centre. We are thinking of setting up some craft workshops on a Thursday afternoon from 1.30pm to 4.30pm in the Zoom room, subject to levels of interest. There would be a cost of around £10-15 to secure your space, payable in advance

The part for the lift is on order and we are keeping everything crossed that it will soon be fixed and back working. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will keep you updated with any further news.

Reading Festival takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend off Richfield Avenue. Traffic is expected to be particularly busy in the area on 20, 21 and 22 August so please allow extra time for your journey to the Centre during this time. Please also remember that the Centre is closed for the Bank Holiday

Just a reminder that Monday 25 August is a Bank Holiday so the Centre will be closed for the day. We reopen as normal at 9am on Tuesday 26 August.

We are sorry that the Centre lift is still out of order. An engineer has been out to assess the repairs needed and the relevant part has been ordered. We hope the repairs will be carried out soon and we’ll keep you updated with any further information. Thank you for your continued understanding.

Today we say goodbye to our Events and Community Fundraiser Tamzin, who is leaving the Centre after two years to start an exciting new business venture with her son. Unfortunately the lift at the Centre is currently out of action. Access to classes and activities in the Zoom Room upstairs is only available by using the stairs. We will update further when we have confirmation from our lift engineer of when the lift is going to be fixed. Thank you for your understanding.
